Our adventure started at the entrance to the Bushwillow Tented Camp, where we followed the trail along the Bloubankspruit. We continued alongside the river for some time, enjoying the peaceful scenery and the sound of the rushing water.

The trail eventually leaves the river and leads to a steep ascent, where a chain is provided to assist with the climb. The ascent to the summit is challenging, and a few rest breaks were needed along the way. Once at the top, we were rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

After taking a moment to enjoy the views, we continued along the trail, making our way down the mountainside towards the hotel. The descent requires some caution, particularly over sections of loose rock.
