Starting at Silvermine Gate 2, we made our way across the open Steenberg plateau, surrounded by beautiful fynbos and mountain views. The further we walked, the quieter the outside world became, making for a peaceful escape. The trail offered a bit of everything, from gravel tracks and soft, white sandy paths to rocky sections. My Merrell Agility Peak 6 trail runners kept me comfortable and confident across the changing terrain.

One of the highlights was the view overlooking Muizenberg Beach, but finding Muizenberg Cave really took the cake! Locating the cave entrance proved a bit of a mission, but after some searching, we finally found it. The rocky paths leading inside were slippery, but our desire to explore won out. We got a little dirty, but it was 100% worth it!

On our way back to the car park, we took a detour to a beautiful waterfall, where we enjoyed some snacks and good conversation. It was the perfect way to round off our two-for-one adventure!
