ππππππππππ ππππππ πππππππ is located in Pretoria and was established in 1895. It's a 600 hectre reserve, with stunning scenery and a variety of wildlife.

Route:
The route was well marked. Our trail started with an ascent up the mountain, which requires good cardio fitness. Once at the top, we caught our breath and made our way along the mountainside. We started our descent, where we stopped at a shady spot for a well-deserved break. The last 2.5 km of the trail is rocky and technical at points, so good footing is required.

It was a hot Spring Day so adequate hydration and energy snacks are recommended. Sunscreen and sun protection are a must! Our Merrell hiking boots gave us grip and balance. A hiking stick is also recommended.

This route provides a good workout! The greenery of the trees and shrubs en route were really beautiful, welcoming us into spring. We spotted Zebra and Ostrich along our trail. The venue offers a variety of activities from picnicking, braai facilities, and guided horse trails. Go check it out!
