The route starts at the Hazeldean Brewing Co Taproom. We walked a short distance before we were surrounded by a forest of trees, which provided the necessary shade on a hot day. It's a flat trail all the way through, perfect for families and your fur babies. It's a very picturesque trail, with beautiful surroundings that exude a peaceful environment. We spotted a few herds of cattle en route, who were curious as to why we were there. The route took us around the farm, where we got to see the Pienaars rivers, scattered hay bales, and an old farmhouse that dates back to the 1940s. The route was truly a pleasure to have explored!

Our Merrell shoes gave us comfort and grip on the muddy sections of the trail. Hydration and a quick snack kept us energised. Sunscreen and a hat are a must, even though there are shady parts.
