The trail is well marked. We completed the 7.5 km trail and found it easy to navigate. It's mainly a flat trail that zigzags in certain sections of the trail. It had a quaint, scenic feel to it, with the vegetation ranging from veld land to canopies of trees surrounding us. We made our way to the waterfall, which was the highlight of this trail. We stopped for a quick hydration break and made our way back to the venue.

Our preferred Merrell hiking boots gave us grip on rocky sections of the trail. A hiking stick is not essential, but it can provide stability. Hydration and snacks are a must, especially with the weather heating up.
