Voets Toets Hiking ventured off to Sterkfontein Heritage Lodge, which is located in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. This stunning venue is in the Sterkfontein Valley and boasts a panoramic view of the Cradle of Humankind and Magaliesberg.

Route:
This well-marked route gently took us down into the valley of the surroundings. It's a scenic trail with lush vegetation and a beautiful bird life. The trail took us to a waterfall, which was peaceful and serene to observe. The trail then led us up an incline to a beautiful viewpoint, where one just wants to sit back and admire the view for hours! The trail ends back at the venue hotel.
