Starting from the main entrance area, we headed past the trout dam, observing the fishermen going about their morning. The trail took us through a few shady areas before heading into open grasslands. We then headed towards the river, which added a calming soundtrack to the last section of the hike, with a few scenic pause points. The trails are well marked and easy to navigate.

The trail is mostly flat and easy. Our preferred Merrell hiking boots gave us support and comfort along the trail. Snacks and hydration are always a must, while sunscreen is recommended, as there is limited shade on the trail.
